Brothers Bulldogs are set for a preliminary final showdown with the Waves Eagles on the back of three successive victories to finish the regular season. The Eagles will be confident on their home deck after defeating the Bulldogs by 8 goals last time they met at Frank Coulthard Oval, however they will face a vastly improved Bulldogs outfit looking to reach back-to-back grand finals after going down by 35 points to the Hervey Bay Bombers in last year’s decider.
In other preliminary finals the Under 12’s go head-to-head with White (1st) taking on Red (4th), the U17’s face a tough task against a skilful Eagles team & the reserves will be bolstered by the return of several key players for finals as they take on Bay Power.
The grand finals are set to take place at Hervey Bay Bombers next Saturday, August 26.
