U13 MIXED COACH – SHANAN MUNN
Brothers Bulldogs would love to welcome back Shanan Munn for his second year at the helm for the U13’s. Shanan loves to help the young players learn and devolop their skills as he promotes a team first environment.
Shanan has been part of the Bulldogs family since he was a kid. The Munn family has roots at the Bulldogs and in Bundaberg for many years and the club is proud to see Shanan carrying on the family legacy.
Going into his second year of coaching Shanan is now focusing on developing the team and building a team of strong, capable and happy players who love playing for each other and working hard. The Club can’t wait to see Shanan and the team in action in 2026 and wish him a great season.
U15 GIRLS COACH – OCTAVIA GOLD
Occy will return again for her second year coaching the Brothers Bulldogs U15 Girls team. Following great success in her maiden year coaching the girls, Occy looks to improve their skills and help them develop as players and young people.
Octavia is a seasoned AFL player, courageous and skilful on the field. Formally a member of the Broadbreach & Surfers Paradise footy clubs, Occy has spent the last two years at the Bulldogs playing in the senior women’s team, helping them break through to win the premiership this season.
Not only is she a great football player, but she is also a great coach and teacher. She teaches PE at North Bundy High, and when she is not working hard for her students, she is working hard coaching the next generation of young girls playing AFL. Octavia is consistently one of the best players on the field and is a great role model for our young aspiring youth girls to look up to. The club is delighted to see her back to coach again and can’t wait to see the improvements for the 2026 youth girls under her guidance.
U15 BOYS COACH – SHANE BRADY
Shane is one of our most experienced coaches at the club. He has been coaching this group of players for the past 4 years, making all 4 grand final appearances. In 2025 they did not come away with the win, but 2026 is guaranteed to be a massive season for Shane and the boys.
Shane has been a valuable member of the Bulldogs for the past 16 years, where he has filled many roles. Coach, committee member, Vice President, Junior & Youth Coordinator and a 250 game player to name a few. During his younger days, he played for Tongala Footbal Club in Victoria and The Murray Bushrangers.
Shane’s real passion is to help young aspiring players to reach their full potential in their AFL journey. The growth mindset he promotes in the playing group allows them to contribute to not just their own growth as well as team growth.
The word around is this will be his last season of coaching and if this is the case let’s all make it one to remember for the whole club. Brothers Bulldogs is proud of the success Shane has brought so far and can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.
U17 BOYS COACH – HARRISON HODGSON
Brothers Bulldogs is excited to announce Harrison Hodgson as the Under 17 Boys Coach for the 2026 AFL Wide Bay season.
At just 22, Hodgo has already become a key figure in the Bulldogs’ senior men’s side — a Senior Best & Fairest winner, ANZAC Day Medalist, and emerging club leader.
This appointment marks the next step in his football journey as he turns his focus to developing the club’s next generation of talent. His understanding of the modern game, combined with his close connection to the current senior playing group, will play a vital role in bridging the gap between our youth and senior programs.
Congratulations, Hodgo — we can’t wait to see you lead and inspire our future Bulldogs stars in 2026.
He will be joined by fellow senior player Cooper Tankey, who has committed as assistant coach.
