Brothers Bulldogs hit the highway over the weekend for the Big Freeze Round at Bay Power. It was fantastic to see everyone supporting young Memphis & Bay Power with the Big Freeze fundraiser by purchasing & wearing beanies & donating to take on the Big Freeze ice slide.
On the field there was action a plenty with Bay Power successful in the Under 14’s, Reserves & Senior Women’s fixtures, while the Under 17 Youth Boys showed true Bulldog spirit in their 19 point win & the senior men got over the line in a tough, willing encounter to take a 26 point win. Both teams have now consolidated 3rd position on the AFL Wide Bay ladder.
The sole fixture at Brothers AFL Complex on Saturday was the Bulldogs derby, with the Under 12’s white & red teams going head-to-head for the second time this year. Brothers Bulldogs Red showed great improvement with the margin only 20 points at the final siren.
