Inaugural Brothers Bulldogs Old Boys Bowls Day A Great Success!

Bowls, beers & plenty of laughs was the order of the day as the Brothers Bulldogs Old Boys gathered for their inaugural Bowls Day at the Brothers Sports Club on Saturday, February 10. Organiser Jeff “Watto” Watson was happy with the turn out of 22 plus several spectators and said it was a great starting point for future events.

On the bowls green players were split into teams of 4 & played a knockout competition with the winners progressing through. With the uneven numbers Camel, who’s team lost in Round 1 was picked up in the mid-afternoon draft which proved to be an absolute masterstroke by “Team Watto” as they progressed & ended up victorious over “Team Pokey” in the final.

If you’re a past player, coach, volunteer or supporter & want to get involved with the Brothers Bulldogs Old Boys get in touch with either Watto or Krebsy & they’ll add you to the mailing list.
