Brothers Bulldogs are preparing to host Bay Power this Saturday, May 11 in what shapes as crucial early season fixtures for both our senior men’s & women’s teams. After going down to the Power on April 20, the Bulldogs men bounced back with an impressive victory over the Waves Eagles (74-49), while the Power went down very narrowly to 3-peat Premiers the Hervey Bay Bombers (50-47). With the Power, Bombers & Bulldogs all sitting on 2 wins / 1 loss records a win to the Bulldogs could see them rise to the top of the AFL Wide Bay ladder after 6 rounds. While in the senior women’s fixture the Power currently sit in 2nd (3 wins / 1 loss), 4 points ahead of the Bulldogs ladies on 2 wins / 2 loss. A win to the Bulldogs could see them rise to 2nd on the ladder behind back-to-back Premiers the Waves Eagles. See below for a full rundown of fixtures this Saturday at Brothers AFL Complex.
